A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Pete was involved in a serious car accident in Tipton on March 23, 2004 and was in a coma for 10 days. Doctors expected him to remain comatose. Not Pete. He recovered, missing the 2004 Spring Quarter while undergoing 6 months of rigorous therapy at Community Medical Center in Fresno and the Centre for Neuro Skills in Bakersfield. Pete returned to UCLA for the Fall 2004 Quarter, picking up right where he left off and graduating from the UCLA College of Honors Cum Laude in the Spring of 2006. He also continued his involvement with the UCLA Interfraternity Council, serving as the External Vice-President of all UCLA Fraternities and Vice-President of Sigma Pi Fraternity.
